New semester Starts in September!

Register now!

New semester will start in September in the Conadian College of Shiatsu therapy (CCST).
CCST registered with the Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA) and this is the only form of Shiatsu recognized by the Japan ministry of health and welfare. We have had students attend our school from all over the world.

We offer both Career Programs that will give you what you need to start a career in Shiatsu and individual courses that will teach you the basics of Shiatsu.
For people who want to give Shiatsu for family and friends, we recommend The Chair-Shiatsu Certificate Course or The Shiatsu Foundation Certificate Course.
The Shiatsu Therapist Certificate Course includes The Shiatsu Foundation Certificate Course plus lectures of basic knowledge of the human body and Shiatsu practicum. The college has a School Clinic where you can practice on actual clients and improve your skill. You will have the qualifications to work at Japan Shiatsu Clinic as a Shiatsu practitioner after completing this course
.
For people who would like to study Shiatsu therapy intensely and start their own Shiatsu business or instruct Shiatsu in the future, we recommend The 2000-hour Shiatsupractor® Diploma Program.

All of our instructors have experience in their field and are qualified to teach as per the PCTIA requirements.  Yoko Trapp, a certified Shiatsu instructor in CCST, took the Provincial Instructor Diploma Program in Vancouver Community College and completed the program in 2010. Our Shiatsu instructors continually improve their skills by practicing Shiatsu daily. In August, we had a study meeting to improve their teaching skills.
