April, 2008 - Shiatsu Seminar
in Japan

A
Shiatsu seminar was held at the Namikoshi Gakuen, Japan Shiatsu College
from April 14th to 18th, with about twenty Shiatsu practitioners
visiting from France. Participants from France attended intensive
classes from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and were instructed in Shiatsu for Ouga,
Fukuga and Gyoga position.
Leading instructors were Tomoaki Kobayashi sensei, Yuji Namikoshi sensei, Iwai sensei and Aoki sensei. From day-to-day, different instructors from the Educational Affairs Department of the College participated in the seminar. Kiyoshi Ikenaga sensei, from the Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy, participated as a special guest. In conclusion, ceremonial photographs were taken of the group and an announcement was made concerning the 15th International Shiatsu Conference which will take place in Vancouver, Canada, on August 10, 2008. Many of the participants from France are expected to attend. |
