Directors & Officers

Chiharu Sato is the Chief Operating Officer and Registrar of the Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy. She performs a wide variety of tasks for the college including answering inquiries, interviews, School tours, registration, helping students with financial arrangements, assisting with visas for International students and much more throughout the calendar year.

Yoko Trapp, Shiatsupractor® is the Administrator and Head Clinical Supervisor of the Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy. She is a graduate of our college and a certified Shiatsu instructor at CCST. Yoko practices Shiatsu professionally at Japan Shiatsu Clinic in North Vancouver. She is a Director of the Canadian Shiatsu Society of British Columbia.

Hikari Ikenaga, Shiatsupractor® is the Chief Financial Officer of the Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy. Hikari is a graduate our college. She is a Director of the Canadian Shiatsu Society of British Columbia and a member of Japan Shiatsu Association.

Our Instructors & Supervisors Our instructors are well trained and educated in specific subjects to provide the students profound knowledge.
	Dr. Frank P Sheng, M.Sc, MD/PhD(china) has many years of teaching and clinical experience. His personal favorite is Pathology and Physiology. Dr. Sheng teaches for many other TCM Colleges locally in the lower mainland as well as CCST. Dr Sheng teaches Physiology and pathology for us at CCST.	Akiko Miyamoto, Shiatsupractor® is a graduate of the Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy. She is a Clinical Supervisor of our college. She practices Shiatsu Professionally at Japan Shiatsu Clinic in Yaletown, Vancouver, BC. She teaches Shiatsu foundation class at CCST. Akiko is a member of Canadian Shiatsu Society of British Columbia.
	Dr. Jing Wei Chang, DTCM, He received his Medical Doctor degree in China and practiced at the Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine working in Oncology for 10 years. He has been a registered Doctor of TCM and Acupuncturist in BC since 1990. He instructs Kampo Medicine at CCST.	Manaabu (Mike) Mori, Shiatsupractor®is a graduate of the Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy. He is a Clinical Supervisor of our college. He practices Shiatsu professionally at Japan Shiatsu Clinic in Yaletown, Vancouver, BC. He is a guest speaker for advance Shiatsu class at CCST. Mike is a member of Canadian Shiatsu Society of British Columbia.
	Dr. Ali Mallakin, MSc, PhD, received his master and doctoral degrees from University of Waterloo, ON and has worked for many years in biomedical and molecular biology areas in USA and Canada. He conducts research, consulting and course instruction in different institutions in Vancouver, BC. He instructs Anatomy at CCST.	Makiko Nakahara, Shiatsupractor® is a graduate of the Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy. She is a Clinical Supervisor of our college. She practices Shiatsu professionally at Japan Shiatsu Clinic in Yaletown, Vancouver, BC. Makiko is a member of Canadian Shiatsu Society of British Columbia.
	Sherry Duggal,Naturopathic doctor, is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. After having completed her Bachelor of science degree at UBC, she focuses on nutrition, especially weight loss. She realizes the importance of diet and works at the level of the individual. She instructs Nutrition at CCST.	Ikuko Kano, Shiatsupractor® is a graduate of the Japan Shiatsu College. She is a Clinical Supervisor of our college. She practices Shiatsu professionally at Japan Shiatsu Clinic. Ikuko is a member of Canadian Shiatsu Society of British Columbia. She is also a Licensed Anma, Massage and Shiatsu Practitioner in Japan.
	Neetu Matharu graduated from SFU in 2006 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology. She is currently training as a Counsellor at VCCT and is specializing in Sexual Abuse. She will graduate next September from that program. She has 10years of experience in Mental Health. She worked in the field of Opiate Dependency. She instructs Psychology at CCST.	Jack Miro,Shiatsupractor® is a graduate of the Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy. He is an assistant instructor for Shiatsu foundation class at CCST. Jack is vice president of Canadian Shiatsu Society of British Columbia.
	Yuko Yanadori, B.A., teaches Japanese culture and language at CCST. She taught Japanese as a Teaching Associate at Cornell University for three years before joining CCST. She enjoys making pottery in her spare time.	Richard Vanden Bosch, MBA, spent more than 10years as an accountant, controller and financial executive for one of Canada's largest telecommunications companies. He now teaches personal financial planning courses and the Cnadian Securities Course in Vancouver. He teaches Business Management at CCST.
